Praying through the Tabernacle Plan
Praying through the Tabernacle plan, Exodus 25 8-9“And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell amount them. According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.”
Exodus 25:8-9 KJV
Hebrews 8 3-5
“For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.”
Hebrews 8:3-5 KJV
Pastor would you please lead us in prayer for repentance.
Take dominion in Jesus name
Pray for no distraction
Having a prayer plan keeps prayer focussed.
Patterns of prayer
Armor of God Prayer
Perfect pattern of prayer
40 verses in the Bible deal with creation
Over 400 verses in the Bible deal with the Tabernacle
Your prayer life will be accelerated by this pattern of prayer.
How you approach God in prayer is very important. Jesus is King of Kings
Most of us pray and bring God our list of things we need and wonder why he does not answer. This is because we are approaching God the wrong way.
There is a way to approach God if you want God to do what you’re asking him to do.
How you approach God is very important.
Psalm 100 4
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”
Psalms 100:4 KJV
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving.
Enter into his courts with praise.
Always enter the prayer meeting thanking God and praising God for what he has done.
This is why when we come to Church we start the service with praise and worship. This invites the Spirit of God into our presence.
There are three layers to the tabernacle
The outer court
The inner court
The Holy of Holies
In the outer court the first piece of furniture that was placed in the tabernacle is the brazen altar of repentance. This was the biggest piece of furniture in the tabernacle. The other pieces of furniture could all fit inside this piece.
The Brazen Altar of Repentance
There are no steps up to this altar. This means there are no steps to repentance. You simply bring repentance.
When you come to the altar and repent of your sins this is how things begin to change in your life.
The priest would tie an animal to the horns of this altar and sacrifice it by fire before he was allowed to do anything else in the tabernacle. Flesh had to die at the brazen altar of repentance.
The first step in your prayer life after you enter his gates with thanksgiving and praise is you must go to the brazen altar and start repenting of your sins.
It’s time to deal with the things in you that no one knows about that you need to deal with.
Here you are going to deal with every issue that you know you struggle with.
This is what people mean when they say I die every day.
The best time to do this in the mornings before you interact with anyone else. This will change how your day goes.
The brazen altar of repentance is the most important step in prayer.
If you are going to pray for someone to be healed repeat first,If you are going to pray for someone to be delivered repent first.
If you are going to pray for someone to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost Repent first and have the person you are praying with repent with you.
I cannot stress to you how important this step is.
1 Corinthians 15:31
How much Shekinah Glory do you want when you reach the Holy of Holy’s?
When praying through the tabernacle realize the bigger the sacrifice of sin on the Brazen Altar of Repentance the brighter the Fire will reflect from the pillar of Smoke.
The pillar of Smoke and Fire represent the presence of God. The brighter the pillar the more powerful the presence will be as we make our way through the tabernacle and go behind the veil.
The bigger the sin we sacrifice to the Lord the more we will feel His Shekhinah Glory
The Shekhinah is the English transliteration of a Hebrew word meaning “dwelling” or “settling” and denotes the dwelling or settling of the divine presence of God. This term does not occur in the Bible, and is from rabbinic literature. -Wikipedia
“Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go.”
Nehemiah 9:12 KJV
“For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.”
Exodus 40:38 KJV
How much you put on the altar repentance determines what you will find when you reach the Holy of Holy’s.
When the priest was finished at the brazen altar of repentance the next place he would go was the laver of water.
Brazen Laver of Water
The laver of water is where he would wash the blood from the sacrifice of flesh at the brazen altar from his hands.
The Bible says we are washed by the word of God.
“That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,”
Ephesians 5:26 KJV
This is where you get your Bible out and read it until you wash your flesh from the sins of your life.
The laver was made from polished brass looking glasses. There were no glass mirrors back then they were made from brass polished to a high shine.
The priest would be able to see his reflection in the bottom of the laver until he put his hands in the water and the blood entering the water made his reflection disappear.
Read your Bible until the flesh is no longer in the picture and you feel God cleansing you from the sins of your life.
You are not done at the laver until the flesh is gone.
You cannot be pleasing to God and expect him to show up and answer your prayers when you do not allow the Word to wash you.
If you find yourself having thoughts that are sinful you need to pick up your Bible and get in the Word and let it wash you.
Before we pray and ask for anything we must remove the flesh and let the Spirit of God come in and pray through us.
The priest would then enter the inner courts.
The priest would put on the priestly garments. At the hem of the garment were alternating bells and fruits which were attached to the priestly robe. The bells represented the sound of the spirit.
The fruits represented the fruits of the spirit.
The reason for the bells was that if the priest skipped a step in the tabernacle trying to get to the Holy of Holies God would kill him.
The bells let the people outside the tabernacle know that the priest was still alive and was still performing his duties within the tabernacle.
This is where you pray for the fruits of the spirit in the gifts of the spirit to lead you.
Let me be sensitive as I enter the tabernacle Lord show me who I am to pray for and what I am to pray for.
Before the priest would enter the inner court there were five pillars holding up the curtain of the inner court that the priest had to pass through.
G. A. Mangun believed these were the names of God
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6 KJV
Prince of Peace
Take your time here stop at all five pillars thank God for filling that role in your life and in your loved ones lives.
I cannot do anything without you God. Before I come to you asking for anything I will exalt you.
This is where you thank God for your many blessings and for your health and for your family and your loved ones.
This is where you pray for God‘s counsel in your life ask him to lead you in everything you do.
Vesta Mangun quote
“Anything you do not bring God into for counsel hell is authorized to counsel you about”
The mighty God
This is where you begin to praise God and you begin to tell Him you know He is real. This is where you pray that Apostolic doctrine will be revealed to all that are lost. This is where you would pray against false religion and false prophets.
You would also pray in this area against those who are lost who have been mislead that need led to the Bible plan of salvation.
Acts 2:38. Pray for the truth to be revealed to the lost. Pray for God to destroy witchcraft sorcery voodoo fortune-telling or any other spiritual supernatural cult that is not of God.
You are all mighty God you are all powerful God. You can do anything God. You can save anyone. You can deliver anyone. You can redeem anyone.
Thank you Jesus
Let the name of Jesus be released across the globe!
This is where you pray for for the forgotten. Pray against sex trafficking. Pray for children who are being abused, neglected, and molested.
Pray for women who have been victims of sexual violence. Pray for the disabled. Pray for the homeless. Pray for single parents. Pray for the incarcerated.
Pray for the widows. Pray for the fatherless. Pray for those bound by addiction. Pray against suicide, depression, anxiety, mental affliction.
Lord God I come to you right now and I pray for those who are alone who have no one to pray for them or with them God I pray that you would answer their prayers and hear them Lord in Jesus name.
Prince of peace
Pray for peace in Israel. Pray for peace in the United States. Pray for peace in the Middle East.
Pray for peace in the Church. Pray for peace in the ministry and in the ministry team’s families. Thank Pray for peace in the families of those in the Church.
Pray for peace for your spouse. Pray for peace for your kids. Pray for peace at your job.
We have not even entered the inner court. We are still in the outer court of the tabernacle.
After passing the fifth post the priest now would enter the inner court.
The first piece of furniture inside the inner court is the candlestick.
Without the candlestick to light the inner court it would be dark.
The priest would take the fire from the brazen altar of repentance and light the candle stick.
The candlestick was made of pure gold. It was filled with oil. Until you light the candlestick you are approaching God in the dark. You must stop here and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
“And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding.
the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord:
and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth:
and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.”
Isaiah 11:1-5 KJV
Pray for God to fill you with His Spirit. Consume me with your fire God. Burn everything in me that is dark.
From there the priest would go to the table of showbread
Table of showbread
The table of showbread had 12 loaves of bread on it. Two rows of six loaves.
The bread is the Word of God.
“Give us this day our daily bread.”
Matthew 6:11 KJV
At this time you get your Bible back out. The first Bible reading was to wash you. This time when you read your Bible it is to feed you. you cannot live feeding on the Spirit alone you must feed on the Word.
When you feed on the Word of God throughout the week you will come to Church prepared and ready.
Here you read until you feel fed. It will be different every day.
We do not leave the table of showbread yet the table itself holds importance. The table is the ministry.
This is where you pray for your Bishop, your Pastor, those on the ministry team, those on the praise and worship team, as well as outreach and missions supported by the Church.
Pray your pastor and your ministry team of your Church have everything they need. Pray for their health. Pray financial blessings over them. Pray that nothing comes against what God has for them to do.
Pray for revival.
Pray for missions.
Pray for Pastors around the globe.
God will direct you and put ministries and ministers on your heart at this time. Be attentive and follow God’s direction.
The table holds up the bread just as the ministry holds up the Word of God.
Everyone that leaves their life behind to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ deserves your prayer.
Altar of incense
This is the last place the priest would visit before he entered into the Holy of Holies.
This is the last place you’re going to minister to the Lord before He begins to minister to you.
The fire from the brazen altar of repentance would be used by the priest to light the altar of incense.
This is where you give God the deepest worship you have. This broken worship will set the stage for praying intercession for your children’s salvation, your family and loved ones to make it, and for lost souls around the world.
Altar – (Hebrew) mizbeah – “a place of slaughter of sacrifice”
The incense made had to be according to a specific formula.
Exodus 30 34-35
“And the Lord said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight: And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy:”
Exodus 30:34-35 KJV
Stacte – a substance found in random parts of a tree. It can show up anywhere within the tree.
Onycha – from the depths of the Red Sea some theologians believe it came from the scales of fish some believe it came from the seaweed at the bottom of the sea.
Galbanum – Resin that comes from a tree only when the tree is broken.
Pure Frankincense – They would put this on a newborn babies as the wisemen did with Jesus.
You may be thinking what is the significance of these four ingredients at the altar of incense.
Stacte – anywhere in anytime
Onycha – from deep places
Galbanum – from broken places
Frankincense – early
God I give you anytime anywhere deep, broken worship early in the morning.
Acknowledge that you.need God. Tell God how much you need Him. Tell Him how you cannot make it without Him. Humble yourself before God all-mighty.
At this time you have not brought any of your needs to God. You are about to enter the Holy of Holies
Holy of Holies
The Holy of Holies was covered by a veil. This veil was held up by four posts.
G. A. Mangun believed the posts to represent Mathew, Mark, Luke, and John because the veil was torn within these Gospels.
Stop at these posts before you enter the Holy of Holies start thanking Jesus for every miracle he did in the Gospels. Thank Him for casting out demons.
Thank Him for healing sickness. Thank Him for removing afflictions. Thank Him for salvation. Thank Him for the Holy Ghost. Thank Him for His Word. Thank Him for every parable in the Gospels. Thank Him for His sacrifice on the cross.
As you approach the Holy of Holies you see the ark of the covenant up on top of the ark of the covenant is the mercy seat. This is where you thank Him for His mercy.
Proclaim to God that you need his mercy for the things that you repented for at the brazen altar of repentance. Pray for the mercy of God to be on you, your kids, your spouse, your family, and your loved ones.
Thank God for his blood. Jesus your blood is the only one thing that washed away my sins.
Ark of the Covenant
On top of the Ark was the mercy seat
Here we pray and thank Jesus for His mercy. We also ask for mercy at this time.
The Ark contained three things.
A pot of manna
Aaron’s Rod that
Pot of manna – daily provision. God told us to pray give us this day our daily bread. Here is where you start to pray for the provision you need.
As you can see we are not to bring up anything we need until we have dealt with ourselves killed our flesh and prayed for everyone that we could think of to pray for.
Bring your needs to God
Ten Commandments – pray to God, God don’t let me break any of your 10 Commandments. Let me live under the covering of your Word.
If I break your Commandments God let your mercy and your blood cover me. Lead me and guide me God please don’t allow me to sin against you. I want Your Word to control my thoughts and my actions.
Aaron’s Rod – Aaoron’s Rod represents the authority God grants us and the miraculous power of Jesus.
Pray with authority in the name of Jesus for for miracles that only God can do. This is where you pray and command sickness to leave a person. This is where the miraculous happens.
This is where we stand in the gap and pray for Jesus to meet needs of others.
We are now entering the presence of the all mighty God.
“And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.”
1 Kings 6:7 KJV
“But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.”
Matthew 6:6 KJV
“For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.”
Mark 4:22 KJV
It is a wonderful privilege to pray. Prayer gives us access to God. Prayer is an incredible bargain. If we pray and God answers.
“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.”
Psalms 68:19 KJV
It is not always easy to pray daily. If you fight the battle to make yourself pray daily there will be many other battles you will not have to fight. Jesus will fight them for you. These are the benefits spoken of in the scripture.
I believe that you can overcome anything that comes you with prayer.
Jesus said pray to the father which is in secret.
The scripture is talking about reaching the holiest of holy‘s. The scripture is speaking of going behind the veil. This is a one on one encounter with Jesus Christ our creator, our Lord, our Savior.
Jesus wants to meet with you in His secret place. If you do this he will reward you openly.
“Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.”
1 Peter 2:6 KJV
Jesus Christ is forever set as the foundation stone. He was prepared in secret for 30 years, revealed openly, and placed in the kingdom of God as the chief cornerstone.
But more stones are needed.
“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.”
1 Peter 2:5 KJV
The stones have to be prepared outside the church so that they can be properly placed in the church.
This means we need to show up to church prayed up and ready to have an encounter with Jesus.
When we start praying we leave the realm of the flesh and enter the realm of the Spirit.
When we reach the place in prayer the pressure we felt trying to hold us back from prayer goes from being in front of us to being behind us pushing towards Jesus. This is how we know we are going behind the veil. It gets easier and easier to pray the longer we stay in the Holy of Holies.
This is where spirit lead prayer begins.
As we linger in the presence of God a spiritual shift takes place. Jesus takes control. He starts to pray through us. God will put the words in our mouths. We will pray in a way that is no longer us.
This is where breakthrough happens.
The next dimension we will reach is the overflow dimension. It becomes more and more difficult for your body to handle the immense glory of God that is present.
“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”
Ephesians 5:18 KJV
This is the place where our worries are drowned by the Spirit of God. It doesn’t matter what we are going through it is nowhere in our thoughts. The only thing we can focus on in this dimension is Jesus.
The next dimension we reach is called the heavenly places dimension.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”
Ephesians 1:3 KJV
This means blessings are in heavenly places.
“Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,”
Ephesians 1:20 KJV
Christ is seated in heavenly places. Find more
“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”
Ephesians 2:6 KJV
We also can be seated in heavenly places- Praying through the Tabernacle Plan
“To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,”
Ephesians 3:10 KJV
The scripture is telling us that in the supernatural realm we have dominion over principalities, over the powers of the devil. This combined with fasting will allow the breaking down of strongholds.
Strongholds might be a family situation. Strongholds might be a work situation.
Strongholds might be a ministry situation. If we want to see revival in Vinita Oklahoma this is where we have to get Church. This is where we have to be spiritually to break the strongholds.
When we reach this dimension angels commanded by God go into warfare on our behalf.
Some of you may have heard the saying there is nothing more powerful than a child of God with the Holy Ghost. This is what they are talking about.
Lost loved ones will get saved in Jesus name. Addictions will be destroyed in Jesus name. Miracles will happen in Jesus name.
Let’s just stop and clap our hands and worship Him. Let’s praise God for a minute.
When we reach this dimension the dominion that Jesus gives us stays with us throughout the day. In this dimension you will know if you get near someone with a demonic presence or an unclean spirit.
The dominion we are giving is so powerful that anyone near you who has a demon or an unclean spirit will not be able to operate in the power they were able to operate before you walked in the room.
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7 KJV
Brothers and sisters when you reach this dimension you are going to feel the ultimate holiness.
There is nothing else in the world like this feeling. There is nothing that can compare to walking in the spirit with complete dominion and authority over everything around us.
Many of us are living with situations in our lives that are defeating many of us are living with situations in our lives that we feel we will never break free of. Today brothers and sisters Jesus is giving us an opportunity to break every chain.
As a church, as the body of Christ we need to get a hold of a spirit of prayer.
Before the priest would exit the holiest of holy‘s he would look up and there were angels sewn into the ceiling of the tabernacle. As you exit this is where you ask God to be with you today.
Ask Him to dispatch His angels to accompany you throughout your daily walk. Ask God to dispatch his angels to be with your spouse, your children, your parents, your family and loved ones.
Pray for protection.
Pray for guidance.
Pray for perfect discernment.
Pray for God to use you.
this prayer plan leads to breakthrough. This prayer plan will change your life. This prayer plan will bring you closer to God than you have ever been before
By Apostle John Moore
